Traver Riggins joined the Center as an ICIJ intern in June 2010. She is a cum laude graduate of Howard University and holds and bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in anthropology. She was managing editor at the daily campus newspaper The Hilltop where she worked for four years. She has also interned at the Huffington Post Investigative Fund, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and the Herald-Times in Bloomington, Indiana.
