The Daily Watchdog: November 9, 2009

FINANCIAL STABILIZATION: “Guarantees and Contingent Payments in TARP and Related Programs” (TARP Congressional Oversight Panel). Calls for the Treasury Department to disclose more information about its guarantee programs, including why Citigroup and Bank of America, but not other banks, were selected for one of the programs.

HEALTH CARE: “Renal Dialysis Facilities’ Dosage Protocols for Administering Erythropoiesis-Stimulating Agents” (Health and Human Services Department’s Inspector General).

FOREIGN AID: “Millennium Challenge Corporation: MCC Has Addressed a Number of Implementation Challenges, but Needs to Improve Financial Controls and Infrastructure Planning” (Government Accountability Office).

TAX ADMINISTRATION: “Improvements Are Needed to Ensure the Health Coverage Tax Credit Is Properly Claimed on Tax Returns” (Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration).
