Fredrik Laurin, Sweden , is a freelance investigative reporter and producer for SVT, Swedish Public Broadcasting.

Along with partners Sven Bergman and Joachim Dyfvermark, he has twice been awarded the Stora Journalistpriset –Sweden’s highest journalism honor– for his work to expose, among other issues, Sweden’s participation in the United States’ extraordinary rendition program. Laurin is the co-recipient of numerous other awards, including “Guldspaden” from the Swedish Investigative Reporters and Editors and the Daniel Pearl Award. Previously, Laurin worked as an investigative reporter and producer for Swedish National TV4, as well as Swedish News Agency TT.  He has taught investigative techniques at a number of national and international venues, like the Global Investigative Journalism Conference, Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism, the University of Stockholm School of Journalism and the Swedish Investigative Reporters and Editors, Grävande Journalister”.
