Ernesto Tenembaum, Argentina, is managing editor of a new weekly political magazine, VEINTIUNO (Twenty-One), which he co-founded after 11 years as political editor of Pagina/12, a newspaper known for its investigative and government reporting.

Tenembaum was an international Knight journalism fellow at Stanford University in 1996 and later returned to Argentina to work as a political columnist and host for an award-winning radio show. He has also worked as a television investigative reporter for Dia D, a show that was ordered off the air by the Argentine president in 1997. Tenembaum is the author of the 1989 book Identidad, Despojo y Restituciòn (Identity: Stripped and Restored) about the kidnapping of children during Argentina’s 1976-1983 military dictatorship.
