Key findings:

— FreedomWorks is a political organization that promotes conservative ideals, and is associated with the populist tea party movement.

— Dick Armey, FreedomWorks chairman, makes $500,000 a year. His "aggressive travel schedule" necessitates first class travel to and from various speaking engagements.

— In addition to a regular PAC (pre-Citizens United) and a super PAC, FreedomWorks also has two nonprofit arms: a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) for "educational" purposes," and a 501(c)(4) for "social welfare" purposes.

— The super PAC received $1.5 million from its sister (c)(4) nonprofit this election cycle, which makes up more than half of its total income ($3.5 million).
