Foreclosure relief schemes disproportionately target minorities



More than 46,000 foreclosure relief complaints show schemes aimed at restructuring mortgages seem to disproportionately target minority homeowners. For example, although African Americans represent just 7 percent of homeowners, they make up 24 percent of foreclosure relief complaints.
