Renee Riley

STATE: Missouri
TICK-BORNE ILLNESS: Alph Gal Syndrome
DATE DIAGNOSED: 8/25/2015

"There are many ticks in our area so it is common to have a tick bite. Before being diagnosed, I was nauseous all the time, frequently up in the night with agonizing cramps, diarrhea and nausea. I had ongoing sinus infections and congestion in my lungs. Now, I eat vegan with fish and foul only, and eat at home or take food if I will be out during meal time. I bring my own water because many filters contain bone char. I am extremely careful about personal care items and medicines. I do not use our leather furniture and have gotten rid of all clothing containing wool. I cannot go to meetings where pizza is served because the airborne mammal affects me. "
