Deborah Dubois

Chief Development Officer  The Center for Public Integrity

Deborah joined the Center in July 2015 as its Chief Development Officer and oversaw its revenue generating activities. She joined the Center after a two and half year stint at Justice at Stake as its Deputy Executive Director for Development. Prior to that, she spent eight years as the Vice President of Development, Marketing & Communications at the National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA), where she also oversaw membership and was a member of the management team.  Prior to NLADA, Deborah was a consultant with Carter Marketing Group and Director of Strategy, Research & Analysis at GW Solutions and at Blackboard.  She is the founder of the bilingual journal, “One Eye Open/Jednim Okem,” a Prague-based literary journal that focuses on women’s issues in post-Communist Europe and former Chair of the Board of Directors for the Mautner Project, where she oversaw its transition to Whitman Walker Health. She holds a Masters in Business Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University.
